Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing husband JP and my wonderful Dad Henry are also part of our family. Many people are familiar with me via my Instagram platform @annephung where I post my daily life: the good, the bad and everything in between. I came to America with my family and brothers in the year 1990. At 1 1/2 years old. old I would not be here sharing my life for you were it not since my parents were devoted to hard work and sacrifice. Since I was confident that I would have a brighter future, I was determined to be successful and do my parents happy. My goals were set for me to study at university, land work in a corporate then marry, and purchase an apartment. While I believed this was the ideal definition of successful, my life was not following the strategies. It was 2013 when I discovered that I didn't like working at my corporate job. The status and the money didn't inspire me. I thought I wasted my time to earn an income. When I began to navigate my way through a different direction in my career, I found that I was supposed to work as a personal trainer. I loved exercising, I enjoyed having fun and I loved helping people. It was in 2014 that I founded my small company which will mark 7 years since my birthday in 2021. It's rare to meet an Asian woman in this business. It is my goal to be a change maker within the field to offer quality coaching to empower individuals to be healthier and happier individual by developing an environment that is sustainable and meets their personal needs and goals. I am also committed to supporting others so that they can reach the goals they set, pursue their dreams and live your life to the fullest. My career took off as I experienced the greatest success in my entire life. But, my mom passed away just when my career took off. Her eight-year battle was won. struggle with scleroderma, and is now in Heaven and with me in my mind and heart at all times. The lessons of life often go unnoticed however they are very useful. The passing of my mother changed me in many ways, and I believe my Mom gave me another opportunity to live my life after her passing. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she passed away. The time was right to go on to the next chapter of her life and for me to have the chance to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. The thing I'm feeling now in my 30s is an experience of aliveness and awareness. It's as if that I'm living my life, rather than just surviving. My intention in telling my story is to show you that you're not the only one. I would like you to be aware that love exists and that therapy can be normal. Health is your greatest asset. I wish you to live your life to its fullest and that you die without regrets because dying is the only thing that is promised to all of us during our lives.
