Annette Funicello did not only sing or act, but also performed. Annette Funicello was an actor from America and singer. The singer began her singing career in her teens and became famous for her hit songs "Tall Paul" as well as "Pineapple Princess." The girl was born and raised in Utica and with Italian parents who were immigrants from Italy, Annette was a shy child. Annette was determined to pursue a career as an entertainer and began dancing and acting. In the mid-1950s, she received a lot of attention for her appearances on "Disney" comedy sketches. Annette removed her Disney image as an adult and began to take on roles for adults. She is best remembered as one of the first actors to create the category of "beach events". Her appearances in films included "How to Stuff A Wild Bikini.' Pajama Party.' and Beach Party. Additionally, she continued to produce music albums. Annette passed away in 2013, following having been diagnosed in 1992 with multiple sclerosis.
